During the SRH-MI match in Hyderabad, a fake ticket fraud detected. In the phony ticket racket operation, the Rachakonda Police apprehended around 13 persons.
Rachakonda police detained over a dozen people in a recent bust for possessing bogus security permits and IPL match tickets. On April 18, a group of people entered the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Where the Sunrisers Hyderabad were playing the Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.
The scammers were apprehend after a fan purchase six tickets to the game only to discover that their seats already taken. However, they were given alternate seating, and the complaint note that many other spectators had the same problem.
“We enter the stadium around 8 p.m. and by then those seats already taken. ” L Spandana (name change), a law student, cited as saying by The Times of India.
Authorities filed a complaint against the ticket distributor after they discover 13 people with bogus security IDs attempting to see the match between SRH and MI. Many sources shown that ticket dealers are selling phony tickets and IDs by replicating the barcode that is provide on the real copies onto the fake ones.

Sunrisers Hyderabad struggling to win
The authorities lodge a case against the ticket vendor after they spot 13 people carrying fake security IDs to try and watch the clash between SRH and MI.
