According to reports, Babar Azam spent 7 lakhs on a magnificent Sabyasachi gown for his wedding later this year. He’s been doing a lot of shopping in India in preparation for the big day. He purchased a traditional sherwani, a typical groom’s dress in India and Pakistan. This startled everyone because he is currently competing in the World Cup. They’re questioning if he’s more concerned with the wedding than the games. Babar also purchased costly jewelry for himself. Pakistani fans are afraid that this is interfering with his concentration on the competition.
“Babar Azam’s wedding is schedule to take place at the end of this year. Making the timing of his extravagant purchase all the more unexpected,” according to a report on the One Cricket website.

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi recently raised worry over Babar Azam’s performance, claiming that the current Pakistan skipper does not consistently provide match-winning performances like Indian players Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. With Pakistan facing elimination from the 2023 ODI World Cup after four losses in seven matches, Afridi stressed that while Babar constantly gets runs, he falls short of achieving team victory.
