The co-founder of BYJU’s comments were link to a news article by The Times of India. According to sources, a new agreement between BCCI and BYJU is being negotiate but has not yet signed. The outstanding funds are for the number of games played by India after the deal expire. As a result, the money owe can only be paid when the transaction is complete.

BCCI officials had been complaining about how unfair and inaccurate press disclosures had harmed their own interests. According to top BCCI sources who confirm to TOI that BYJU’s had clear all dues in accordance with the contract in place, the cricket board is aware of a bank guarantee from BYJU’s that far exceeds the pending sum as report in the media.
