NORTHERN KNIGHTS vs CANTERBURY KINGS: Northern Knights are yet to begin their tournament campaign this year, but history says they are not a team to be underestimated.
The Knights have always been able to punch above their weight, and this year is likely to be no different. A loss here would leave them at the bottom of the standings, but a win would propel them to fourth place, which is precisely what they want.
Canterbury is one of the most well-known teams in New Zealand’s domestic league, but they’re better recognized for their limited-overs heroics. They are, however, more or less proving that belief incorrect, as they are now atop the points table.
