Sanjay Bangar: Sanjay Bangar has been chosen head coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming IPL season. Mike Hesson, who will stay with the set-up as Director of Cricket Operations. I Will hand over the coaching reins to him. In addition, the former New Zealand coach has been named head coach for the IPL 2021 season in the UAE.
Bangar, who represented India in 12 Tests and 15 One-Day Internationals. Has worked as a coach in a variety of settings. He was the batting coach for Kochi Tuskers in the IPL in 2010. Before the 2014 IPL season, he was named Kings XI Punjab’s assistant coach.
Following that, he took over as head coach from Darren Lehmann during the same season. And led the team to their greatest ever performance in the IPL, finishing runners-up.
He was named RCB’s batting consultant this year. He’s also coached the Indian squad in various positions, including batting coach, assistant coach. And the head coach of the Indian team that toured Zimbabwe in June 2016.

Meanwhile, Bangar made the following observation:

But I’m confident that with the ongoing backing of the management and support team. We can deliver the goods and bring joy to our fans all over the world.”
During the UAE leg of this year’s IPL, Hesson served as both head coach and director of the team. And RCB made it to the playoffs before losing to Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator.
