Pakistan Cricket Board has completed the process of establishing a new selection committee. For quite some time, the cricket board shaken by several issues.
The PCB may have finally completed the selection of its permanent board members. Who would assume office from the day of their appointment. It should be mentioned that the appointment of the selection committee has been completed for men’s cricket in Pakistan.
Haroon Rasheed recently chosen head of the selection committee panel. and
he would be closely engaged with former Pakistan internationals Kamran Akmal. Mohammad Sami, and Yasir Hameed in his administrative responsibilities.

PCB rocked by too many controversies
For quite some time, the PCB plague by drama and misunderstanding inside its governing body, beginning with the infamous case of previous Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja being ousted and Najam Sethi being appoint in his stead. Since then, Raja has maintain a frosty relationship with the PCB, never missing an opportunity to express his rage and condemn them.
Recently, the most infamous instance that raised a lot of questions was Mickey Arthur’s hiring as a “online coach” for Pakistan’s men’s cricket, which even left former cricketers like Shahid Afridi scratching his head.
Concerning the conclusion of the new committee’s appointment, former cricketer Kamran Akmal will serve as the chair for the U19 men’s selection panel, which also includes Tauseef Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Shahid Nazir, and Shoaib Khan.
Rasheed a member of the 14-person Managing Committee (MC) but resign after being appoint head of the selection committee in lieu of Afridi. According to PCB Chairman Najam Sethi in an earlier interview. He has, however, been reinstate to the Managing Committee. As a result, he would continue to perform both roles (as MC member and chief selector).
