Ravichandran Ashwin, the Indian and Rajasthan Royals star spinner, recently spotted signing his teammate Jos Buttler’s jersey in the Rajasthan Royals (RR) dressing room. The event took place on May 29th, following the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) final in Ahmedabad (Sunday).
It should be noted that Buttler retained by RR, and the franchise acquire Ashwin in the IPL 2022 mega auction. The right-handed batter had an outstanding season, winning the Orange Cap (most runs) after scoring 863 runs at an average of 57.53 and a strike rate of 149.05. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, on the other hand, took 12 wickets and scored 191 runs.

Both R Ashwin and Buttler had a troubled past.
Cricket fans wanted to see Buttler and Ashwin play for RR together before the tournament because of their turbulent history in the tournament. Notably, the off-spinner was responsible for Buttler’s run out at the non-end striker’s during the 2019 IPL. Throughout the IPL 2022, however, both professional cricketers appeared to have formed a close bond.
