Ambati Rayudu of the Chennai Super Kings took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season will be his final in the cash-rich league, but he later deleted his tweet. Rayudu took to Twitter and wrote: ” I am pleased to inform you that this will be my final ipl. For 13 years, I’ve had a great time playing it and being a part of two fantastic teams. I’d like to thank Mumbai Indians and Csk for a wonderful journey.”

Rayudu has become an important part of the CSK batting lineup over the years, displaying both an attacking and conservative game to get his team out of trouble.
Rayudu has appeared in 187 IPL games, scoring 4,187 runs at an average of 29.28. He also has a good strike rate of 127.26, with his best score in the tournament being 100 not out.
Rayudu played for the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings during his IPL career. From 2010 to 2017, he was a member of the Mumbai Indians.
Rayudu signed by CSK prior to the 2018 IPL. The batter not been retain by the franchise for the current season. But he was acquired in the mega auction by the MS Dhoni-led side.
Rayudu began his IPL career with the Mumbai Indians in 2010. In 14 games during his rookie season, the right-handed batter scored 356 runs.
