Taskin Ahmed can cause problems as Australia’s top orders can be vulnerable to the movement of the ball.
Glen Maxwell came to the tournament in the best of his career, but it wasn’t okay. He missed a big reverse sweep against South Africa and fell into a corner against Sri Lanka.
When he chose a deep mid-wicket in 3rd place to maintain his pace and was dashed against England by the extraordinary Chris Woakes.
Given how biting the ball was, I was surprised to see him still in fourth place in that last game. Perhaps his best chance was someone else trying to get him some freedom by removing the puncture wound from bowling.
How much Finch believes he can trust him in the ball is also important to the balance of the team.
