Vikram Rathour: Active punch coach Vikram Rathour has announced that he has reapplied for a role that goes beyond the current T20 World Championships.
Former Indian cricket player replaced Sanjay Banger in 2019, ahead of the home season that began with the series with South Africa.

“The experience has been great,” Rathour said ahead of the Group 12 clash against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi. “It has been a great learning experience. It’s great to work with a team of such highly motivated and skillful players.
“So, it has been a good experience. Going forward, I’ve already applied for the batting coach’s job. If I get that job, there’ll be a lot of work to be done. We will take it as it goes.”
Bowling trainer Bharat Arun and field trainer R. Sridhar is the only new coach staff members to join in 2019.
However, the coaching group is set for a revised post at this T20 World Cup, with Shastri, Arun, and Sridhar leaving.
Former Indian captain Rahul Dravid has already applied for the role of the head coach and is a strong candidate to take on that role.
