Haseebullah, a 21-year-old wicketkeeper/batsman, is expect to join the Pakistan team after tonight’s third T20I. He will be available for selection in the remaining two T20Is, which are schedule to take place in Lahore on Thursday and Saturday. Haseebullah previously played his only T20I against New Zealand earlier this year.

Looking at Haseebullah Khan’s career statistics in various formats, it is clear that he boasts exceptional abilities. While he has only played one T20 International match, his performance in First-Class cricket has been impressive. He has scored 923 runs at an average of 38.45, including four century and three half-centuries, demonstrating consistency and quality.

In List A cricket, Khan’s record is even more outstanding, with 1751 runs at an average of 48.63, seven centuries, and six half-centuries. In T20s, he has scored 481 runs at an average of 20.91, with three half centuries. Haseebullah’s statistics reflect his ability to succeed in a variety of game styles.

Pakistan thrashed the Kiwis comfortably in the second T20I:

Moving on to the series, Pakistan won the second T20I match against New Zealand by seven wickets. The match was played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and New Zealand’s innings ended with 90 runs in 18.1 overs. Pakistan’s bowlers, led by Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed, delivered an admirable performance in restricting New Zealand’s batting lineup. In response, Pakistan chased down the 91-run target in 12.1 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan leading the way with an unbeaten 45.

The fourth and fifth T20I matches between Pakistan and New Zealand are planned for April 25 and 27, respectively, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
