The Lucknow Super Giants will continue their IPL (Indian Premier League) 2024 campaign on Tuesday, April 2, when they face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the tournament’s 15th game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
The LSG support staff is considering the availability of regular skipper KL Rahul for their match against RCB. It is worth noting that Rahul was replaced as captain in the team’s most recent match versus Punjab Kings, with Nicholas Pooran taking over.
The decision will be made due to LSG’s caution following KL Rahul’s quadriceps injury, which kept him out of the last four Tests of the five-match series at home against England earlier this year.
It is important mentioning that Rahul avoided wicketkeeping in the nets. He also did full-body motions with head coach Justin Langer. He also padded up and batted in the nets. Rahul completed some additional mobility drills after concluding his batting session.
