Furthermore, the five-time champion Mumbai Indians have signed Kwena Maphaka to the roster as a replacement for Dilshan Madushanka. The Sri Lanka international has been ruled out of the IPL due to injury, while Maphaka recently represented South Africa in the U19 World Cup, where he was voted player of the tournament.

Speaking of impending duties, the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans will begin their IPL 2024 campaign on March 24 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both teams will face off in the tournament’s fifth game, hoping to get off to a strong start.
