With 10 points from 11 games, Faf du Plessis’ Royal Challengers Bangalore are sixth in the points table. Their quest for a playoff berth continues. In order to finish in the top four, RCB must win all of their remaining league games. In their final three games, RCB will face Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Gujarat Titans, and they must focus on winning.
Winning the three games will increase their points table tally to 16, but they must also win the three games by a large margin in order to enhance their NRR. The rivalry is fierce, with numerous clubs vying for a spot in the playoffs.

A positive NRR would give RCB an advantage over other teams.
Royal Challengers will almost certainly be eliminate even if they win their next two games and finish with 14 points. They would be eliminated from the championship if they lose their game against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, May 14.
This is due to the fact that three clubs, namely the Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, and either one of the Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, or both, will finish with more than 14 points, and the Royals’ excellent NRR will ensure that they finish in the top four as well.
Even if RCB win their final three games, their postseason position will be highly influence by how other clubs perform. There is also a chance that GT, CSK, MI, LSG, PBKS, and RCB all wind up with 16 points at the end of the league stage, in which case the NRR will come into play and the side with the better run-rate will advance.
