England is regard as one of the most difficult venues for India to travel, having failed to win a Test series there in the previous 16 years. Team India had another dismal journey to England in 2014, losing the five-match series 1-3. The series is particularly note for India’s top hitter, Virat Kohli, who score just 134 runs in 10 innings.

Kohli’s poor performance fuel concerns about his status in the squad, with supporters demanding that he be dismiss immediately. Team India, on the other hand, staged an incredible comeback in the ODI series, defeating England 3-1. Yet, the supporters were still unsatisfied with the outcome of the Test series.

Now, Virat Kohli has recounted an anecdote in which a fan taught the Indian team cricket skills on a flight following India’s poor performance in England. Kohli said that the individual went directly to MS Dhoni for advice and wanted a hundred dollars from him.

Appearing on the recent edition of RCB Podcast season 2, Kohli share the funny interaction with the passenger and said, “The man initially walk to Mahi (MS Dhoni) and start talking about how the squad composition should be and MS disregarded it well. He then turned his attention to me and inquired as to what was wrong with my bat.”

“The man added that he expected a hundred from me in the next game,” Kohli said, revealing how he dealt with the passenger’s abrupt outburst. I was young at the time, and that flip the switch, and I invite him to a talk. When I asked him where he worked, he stated a corporation. Then I inquired about his position, and he stated that he was some sort of manager. I immediately said, “I want you to be the chairman of the firm in the next three years.”

Kohli’s words hit the fan hard, and he immediately realized that playing international cricket is not for the faint of heart. The famous India batter further said that watching the passenger being relentless the entire team India began yelling ‘Coach-Coach’ together which humiliated the supporter making him return to his seat.
