“I am humbled to be given the opportunity to lead the England Test team. ” This is an incredible honor, and I’m looking forward to getting started this summer.

According to an official release from the ECB, Stokes will speak to media outlets next week in Durham.
For the past 5-6 years, Stokes has been one of England’s most prolific match-winners across all formats. His all-round ability has helped the team reach new heights, including winning the first-ever ODI World Cup in 2019.
