Pre-IPL assessment camp at NCA: Over 25 non-Test players will attend, according to the BCCI.
All national players who are not portion of the current Test squad in Mohali have been educating; to report to the National Cricket Academy by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) (NCA). Some time recently the Indian Premier League (IPL) starts on Walk 26; the players will also go through a 10-day wellness program at the BCCI’s Bangalore facility. The BCCI made the choice on the recommendation of the national choice committee; which also needs the players’ wellness issues tended to some time recently the overwhelming IPL season starts. The due date for them to report was Friday; Walk 4, and the camp was set to start on Saturday (Walk 5).
After suffering injuries in previous white ball matches, Surya Kumar Yadav; Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Deepak Chahar have recently arrived at the NCA. Their recuperation has already begun, and the NCA officials, led by VVS Laxman, are monitoring their health.
“There are likely a quarter-dozen of them. Before the IPL, the NCA will look at their wellness levels. The objective is to hold a camp some time recently before they leave for their IPL assignments; “a BCCI official with first-hand information of the circumstances said.

Meanwhile, we’ve learned that Axar Patel, who is now unable to participate in the Mohali Test; is anticipated to be fit for the second Test in Bangalore. The BCCI had said when declaring the squad for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka on February 20; “Axar Patel is currently undergoing rehabilitation and will not be available for the first Test. Later, he’ll be evaluate to see if he’ll be selecting for the second Test.”

The left-arm spinner, who has been out of action since the December Mumbai Test against New Zealand; is anticipated to be fit for selection for the second Test; which begins on March 13 at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
