Rinku Singh, a star Indian batter, recently announced his intention to buy a car for his father. As a gesture of gratitude after receiving a substantial sum of Rs 3 crore. According to Amar Ujaala, Rinku won a medal at the Asian Games, which were held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow.
With the medal came a substantial cash prize of Rs 3 crore in recognition of his outstanding performance on the field.
The Indira Gandhi Foundation of Lucknow recognized Rinku’s performance in the tournament and awarded him a large sum.
According to the report, talented runner Gulveer Singh could also win Rs 75 lakh. Rinku intends to use the prize money to give his father, Khanchandra Singh, a car.
The star batter’s father made headlines following his son’s heroic performances for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2023. Khanchandra Singh’s videos recently went viral after he was seen delivering gas cylinders. Which provided him with food during difficult times. However, Rinku’s popularity has turned the family’s fortunes around.

Rinku expected to play starring role for India in future
Rinku Singh’s performances in recent times have skyrocketed his fame. His performances in the IPL saw him receive his maiden call-up for the Indian team in the shortest format and the batter has delivered.
It is worth noting that Rinku has played 15 T20Is for India where he has amassed 356 runs to his name at an average of 89. With the T20 World Cup looming on the horizon, and with Rinku settling into his finisher role. His inclusion in the squad could prove to be key for the Men in Blue.
