Speaking of the incident, Afghanistan head coach Jonathan Trott state that he had no knowledge what had occur and that there was no communication.
“I have no notion. Has there ever been two Super Overs? That is what I’m trying to communicate. It’s almost as if we’re always establishing new norms. “What I’m trying to say is that we kept testing the rules and the guidelines,” Trott told the Hindustan Times.

These things will be explain and done in writing in the future: Trott
According to ICC (International Cricket Council) rules. No bowler who has already bowl a Super Over is permit to return for a second if the occasion warrants it. Trott claim that communication between players and officials was at an all-time low.
“It was not communicated; we wanted Azmat to bowl the second over again, and Fareed bowled an excellent over. But those types of things will be explained… because they have happen, they will be discuss and document in the future. If those are the rules, that’s excellent. Trott stated, “I just think we had a good game, and that shouldn’t be the talking point.”
