MS Dhoni on what motivated him throughout his career
During an open audience Q&A, ‘Captain Cool’ discussed the persistent inspiration that fueled his brilliant career. When questioned about his dedication to the Indian team, particularly during his formative years, the Ranchi native highlighted the motivators that fueled and nurtured his unshakable enthusiasm for the game.
“When I was younger, there weren’t many videos to view. So, when we saw Sachin bat, we thought we could bat like him, only to be disappointed. Growing up, he [Sachin] was a source of inspiration. But when I first started playing for India, it was the nation that drove me the most. “We lost a lot of games, but the goal was to always do well for the country,” he added.
