Ravindra Jadeja bowls exceptional delivery to send Steve Smith packing. Within two overs, Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, and Alex Carey.
On October 8, India and Australia faced off in the fifth match of the ongoing ODI World Cup at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The eagerly anticipated match began with Australia winning the toss and electing to bat first.
Australia put under strain following Mitchell Marsh’s early dismissal. However, David Warner and Steve Smith responded to the occasion and delivered tenacious knocks to relieve some of the burden on the Australians.
The brilliance of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja required to put India back into the game. Jadeja’s opening delivery of the 28th over, bowled to Smith, twisted just enough to beat the great Australian batsman. The ball twisted enough to take out the off stump after landing around the center.
Smith scored 46 runs off 71 deliveries and batted brilliantly under pressure. However, Jadeja’s presence of mind and exquisite delivery were enough to send the veteran back to the pavilion.

Jadeja wreaks havoc as Australia crumble
The Australian batsmen appear to be struggling following Steve Smith’s expulsion. Only one over after the 34-year-old’s dismissal, Jadeja returned to wreck havoc on the Australian hitters.
On the second delivery of the 30th over, the great spinner claimed the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne. Labuschagne dive down low for a sweep, but he was trap behind by KL Rahul as he miss the shot. Despite a review, the hitter ruled out after 27 runs in 41 deliveries.
Furthermore, Jadeja added to Australia’s woes by dismissing Alex Carey on the fourth ball of the same over. Australia will be hoping for reasonable middle-order performances after losing five wickets and scoring 119 runs in 30 overs.
