The opener is just concerned with winning the 2019 ODI World Cup, which will get underway on October 5. The seasoned cricketer also recalled that Rohit was the tournament’s top run-scorer in the most recent iteration and that he would aim to be just as aggressive in the upcoming campaign.
“He is a player who has drastically altered his style. He scored the most runs at the 2019 World Cup. I don’t believe he will care even if he only gets half the runs. He has said himself that he doesn’t care about the runs he gets. It’s all about trying to win this World Cup. The one that he has made sure is to walk the talk. He is always in a hurry to get Team India off to a good start and putting the opponent bowlers to rest,” Karthik told CricBuzz.
