Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir has heaped praise on Virat Kohli, saying his 183-run innings against Pakistan in the Asia Cup in 2012 surpassed double centuries by Rohit Sharma.
According to Gambhir, the size of Kohli’s knock, given the intensity of the contest, the pressure of the chase, the quality of the bowling attack, and India’s terrible start in that game, makes Kohli’s knock better than any double centuries achieved after that.
