India will hold an Asia Cup training camp in Alur with 14 net bowlers and selectors in attendance. Starting on August 25, the Indian squad will hold a training camp in Alur. Players like Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, Sanju Samson. Tilak Varma who are currently in Ireland are expected to attend the camp the following day.
Insider reports claim that the goal of the camp is to polish the players’ abilities in preparation for the Asia Cup competition. The players who are available will be in Bengaluru by August 23 evening for the camp at Alur. According to a top BCCI official, while the players from Ireland will depart on August 24. On August 25, they’ll probably travel to their hometown first before joining the camp in Alur.

The upcoming preparatory camp is design not only to optimize. The performance of the complete Asia Cup squad but also to includes 14 net bowlers.
“In addition to the Asia Cup squad, 14 net bowlers will be part of the Asia Cup preparatory camp. The idea is to ensure intensity and quality of net sessions is right up there and it doesn’t burn out the bowling resources,” a BCCI official said as quoted by News 18.
The presence of the coaching staff, lead by the illustrious Rahul Dravid, will ensure the camp’s overall development. The proceedings will be overseen by the men’s senior selection committee, which is chaired by Ajit Agarkar.
The players coming back from injuries, especially KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, will receive special attention. As they attempt to find their rhythm after a significant period of time away from competitive cricket, their performance throughout the camp will be watched closely. Iyer has already participated in three 50-over matches at the NCA, according to Ajit Agarkar, who also confirmed his full fitness.
