Australia A will be led by Marnus Labuschagne against New Zealand A. The Australia A team will face off against New Zealand A in two four-day matches, followed by three one-day matches.

Matthew Short, who called up for the three-match T20I series against South Africa, also made the white-ball squad.

Cameron Bancroft’s opportunity to be the frontrunner for the Test opener job following David Warner’s retirement
