Inzamam-ul-Haq is likely to become Pakistan’s new head selector. The decision on the new selection committee made the following week.
Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is presently dominating the race to become Pakistan Cricket’s new chief selector. Following the appointment of Zaka Ashraf as chairwoman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The 70-year-old is attempting to construct a fresh set-up for the national side. Therefore the decision made to bring Inzamam back into the fold. Meanwhile, team director Mickey Arthur and head coach Grant Bradburn are also on the selection committee, although they will be told about their status soon.
On the other side, Misbah-ul-Haq, Inzamam, and Mohammad Hafeez have just joined Ashraf’s Cricket Technical Committee (CTC). The trio has been task with making all crucial choices on the composition of the new selection committee, which will work on the overall development of Pakistan cricket. As a result, they now have the authority to decide the future of Micky Arthur and Grant Bradburn in this committee.
“The Cricket Technical Committee members, including Misbah ul Haq, Inzamam, and Muhammad Hafeez, have been discussing the new selection committee. It is yet to be decide whether Arthur and Bradburn should remain members on it,” NDTV said.
The insider also offered an update, stating that Misbah-ul-Haq will speak with team captain Babar Azam before making a final decision on their participation in the selection committee.
“Once Babar’s views are taken into consideration. The Cricket Technical Committee will finalize its recommendation for the Chairman. ” the source stated.

Pakistan is considering Arthur and Bradburn’s roles on the selection committee.
Meanwhile, Mickey Arthur and Grant Bradburn said to be upset if they are remove from the selection panel. Notably, before agreeing to work with the Pakistan team, the duo made it clear that they wanted a say in roster selection. As a result, if the new committee decides to remove them, it may backfire. The forthcoming week seen as critical for Pakistan. As it has the potential to imperil certain things if it does not proceed quickly.
