The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is quite likely to adopt the PCB new hybrid concept. In which the 2017 Asia Cup will begin in Pakistan and then transfer to Sri Lanka. According to estimates, Pakistan would host four to five of the 13 matches, with Sri Lanka hosting the rest, including the grand final. Meanwhile, the PCB and ACC have decided that India would play all of their matches in Sri Lanka.
The competition will most likely begin during the first and second weeks of September and will last until the end of the month. This will be an excellent time for all Asian nations to finalize their squads for the 2018 ODI World Cup. Which expect to begin immediately following the conclusion of the continental event. Meanwhile, all of Pakistan’s matches are expect to play in Lahore. While Kandy and Galle in Sri Lanka are favorites to host the other matches.
