Danushka Gunathilaka, famous Sri Lankan cricketer, will apply for bail again just days. After the details of his alleged sexual assault on a Sydney woman were revealed in court. Mr Gunathilaka’s counsel appeared in the Supreme Court for a brief hearing on Monday. Less than a week after the international athlete was denied bail at the Downing Centre Local Court.
The registry announced a time of December 8 for the cricketer’s hearing. Which is likely to last about half an hour.

The couple spent the night in Sydney’s CBD before returning to the lady’s residence about 11 p.m., where the woman allegedly encouraged them to “take it easy.”
Mr Gunathilaka “thrust himself” on top of the 29-year-old lady, according to police claims revealed in court records.
According to the police statement of facts, the couple walked to a bedroom, where the lady became uneasy, but consented to resume sexual activity only provided Mr Gunithilaka wore a condom.
“He objected but ultimately consented,” according to the documents.
Mr Gunithilaka is accuse of choking the woman many times and smacking her on the backside during his several hours at the woman’s residence.
Mr Gunithilaka has not entered a plea to any of the accusations and will remain in custody until he appears before the Supreme Court on December 8.
