The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will send a five-member security team to Pakistan on July 17. To inspect arrangements and potential venues ahead of England’s tour there. The England Cricket Team will tour Pakistan for the first time since 2015. Playing a seven-match T20I series and three Tests in September or October. “The delegation will visit Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi, and will include two cricket operations officials, two security experts, and a representative from their professional cricketers association,” a senior Pakistan Cricket Board official told PTI.

According to the official, the recce team’s visit is part of the routine inspection tour.
“The delegation will visit the venues and team hotels, as well as meet with security officials to discuss plans for the England team’s visit,” the official continued.
Last year, England was scheduled to visit Pakistan for five Twenty20 matches, but the ECB canceled the tour due to the cricketers’ mental health issues. The withdrawal came just days after the New Zealand cricket team abruptly canceled their tour due to “security threats.”
