In terms of the match, England won by 17 runs to prevent India from completing a clean sweep. They won the T20I series 1-0. Dawid Malan batted first and scored 77 off 39 balls as England posted 215/7 in 20 overs in Nottingham. Despite Suryakumar’s century, India were bowled out for 198/9.
