“Is he ready? Of course he’s prepared. I’m confident that if given the chance in any role, because he’s such a versatile player, he’ll seize it with both hands and not let you down “When asked if Rahul Tripathi was ready to make the step up to the international stage, Tom Moody said.
Tripathi has been a valuable asset to teams since his IPL debut in 2017, taking on a variety of roles and performing admirably.
The 31-year-old has 1778 runs at a strike rate of 141.22 in 75 IPL matches. He has three half-centuries and 393 runs at a strike rate of 161.73 this season.
