IPL 2022: Virat Kohli, 52 Runs Away On Joining Rohit Sharma On The Exclusive List.
Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is the leading run-scorer in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), with 6,389 runs to his name. In the 2016 edition of the tournament, the maverick batter scored more than 950 runs, and on his day, he can single-handedly win any game for his team. Kohli is on the verge of a massive achievement against the Ravindra Jadeja-led Chennai Super Kings as the match approaches.
Kohli is just 52 runs away from scoring 1,000 runs against CSK in the cash-rich league, and if he does, he will become only the second batter in the tournament to do so.
Rohit Sharma is the only batter with over 1,000 runs against a single franchise, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

With six points from four games, RCB currently sits third in the IPL points table. Meanwhile, CSK is at the bottom of the table with four losses in four games.
Kohli had returned to form in the previous game against the Mumbai Indians, scoring 48 runs.
He appear to be on his way to a half-century before being dismiss by Dewald Brevis in the penultimate over.
RCB defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets on Saturday and will now look to maintain their winning streak.
Before the match against CSK, RCB receive a huge boost when Josh Hazlewood and Jason Behrendorff were declared available.
CSK, on the other hand, will look to gain some momentum in order to salvage their current IPL 2022 season.
