IRELAND WOMEN TOUR OF PAKISTAN 2022: Sri Lanka and Ireland are planning a historic tour of Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board declared on Monday that Pakistan will have the ICC Women’s Championship; recreations in their domestic nation for the primary time when they play Sri Lanka; in three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals in May and June. The bouts will act as a warm-up for the Commonwealth Diversions in Birmingham; and the Asian Recreations in China, which are both coming up soon.
Bismah Maroof’s group will compete in eight competitions from May 2022 to February 2023; counting the ICC Women’s Championship commitments, ICC Women’s T20 World Cup; Commonwealth Diversions, Asian Recreations, and ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup. Pakistan wrapped up bottom of the table within the progressing 50-over world cup.
Ireland will go to Pakistan for the first time as part of the ICC Women’s Championship; where they will play six white-ball matches (three ODIs, three T20Is).
Pakistan will then travel to Australia in January and February to play three ODIs and three T20Is; in preparation for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in South Africa in February 2023.
The tour to Pakistan by Ireland
The series will be the first time a senior Irish team visits Pakistan (men or women). The joint announcement from the PCB and Cricket Ireland follows; Pakistan Women’s planned visit to Ireland in July for a tri-series (also involving Australia).

The Irish team’s historic tour will begin on November 6 with the ODI leg; with points from all three games counting towards the ICC Women’s Championship. The tour will conclude on November 18 with the third and final T20I match.
