British Umpire Michael Gough withdrew from the ongoing T20 World Cup by the ICC.

On Wednesday after breaking the tournament’s bio bubble a few days ago.
The 41-year-old was quarantined for six days to leave the hotel without permission last Friday. And meet people outside the tournament bubble.
The ICC said in a statement:
“The ICC recognizes the extended periods he has spent in bio-secure conditions. Over the past two years and will continue to support the well-being. Of all match officials operating in this environment,” it added.
Goff was suppose to lead the match between India and New Zealand in Dubai last Sunday. But withdrew after the breach and was replacing by South Africa’s Marais Erasmus.
Former Durham batter Goff is now consider one of the best referees in international cricket.
During his quarantine, he was testing every other day.
