India defeated Afghanistan with 66 runs at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, celebrating its first victory at the ongoing T20 World Cup.
In the first batting, India won 210 runs with 20 overs with great strokes from the opening games KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma.
The right-handed duo set a remarkable milestone on the 140-run stand of the first Wicket.
This put the Virat Kohli-led team in good shape early in the match against the Mohammad Navi team.

Prior to this, this record was held by Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag. Who formed a 136-run partnership with England in their first wickets at the 2007 T20 World Cup.
This game is known for Six Sixes against Stuart Broad of Yuvraj Singh.
It was also the 4th-century stand between Rohit and Rahul in 23 T20I innings. The second most in pair in the shortest format of the game.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan lead the race on a 5th-century stand with 19 innings.
This victory put India in fourth place in Group 2 and Pakistan at the top of the overall ranking.
The team Virat Kohli-led has to win all the remaining games. And also has to rely on the results of other teams to reach the top two of the group.
The Indian team will face Scotland in Dubai on Friday.
