West Indies captain Kieron Pollard praised the great India batsman after the last T2OI, calling him a “360-degree performer.”
India swept the West Indies in the T20I series that ended yesterday in Kolkata, adding to their 3-0 win in the ODIs. Suryakumar Yadav batted first in the third and final T20I on Sunday, blasting 65 off just 31 balls with seven sixes and a single four.
Suryakumar and Venkatesh Iyer (35 off 19) fashioned a 91-run fifth-wicket stand as India struggled at 93 for four after a top-order collapse, pushing the side to a score of 184 for five.
The Indian bowlers limited the West Indies to a total of 167 for 9 runs. Allowing India to win by 17 runs.

Suryakumar will want to perform the same, if not better, in the next T20I series against Sri Lanka after leading India to a comprehensive series win against the Windies.
