Liam Livingstone contract with Lancashire has been extended until the end of 2024, capping off a breakout year. Simon Kerrigan’s contract with Northamptonshire has been extended for another two years.

Across all three formats since his debut in the county’s 2015 Blast-winning campaign, making 163 appearances for the county.
In first-class cricket, he averages 38.36 with the bat and has a strike rate of 144.73 in the T20s and 165.78 in T20Is.
Liam Livingstone has been called up to England’s white-ball squads on several occasions, most notably for the T20 World Cup, and he made his ODI debut against India in March.
Liam Livingstone recorded England’s fastest T20I century with a 42-ball effort in a losing cause against Pakistan in July when he was playing only his sixth T20I.
He’s played in T20 competitions all around the world, including the IPL, Big Bash, and PSL, and Peshawar Zalmi kept him in the platinum category on Friday.

Including five first-class tons, and a 51-ball blitz at Derbyshire in 2018. He became one of only six Red Rose batsmen to get a century in T20 cricket.
In recent seasons, he has added leg-spin and off-spin bowling to his repertoire. Scooping up 83 wickets for Lancashire across all three forms. And providing a useful option in the England attack.
Meanwhile, Northamptonshire left-arm spinner Simon Kerrigan signed a two-year contract extension on Friday. Kerrigan’s initial contract had one year left on it. But he has now agreed to stay with the club until at least the conclusion of the 2024 season.
Northamptonshire will play in Division One of the LV= Insurance County Championship. Next season after securing promotion in 2019 and Kerrigan was excited about the prospect.
