Cricket South Africa announces intake for 2024 CSA Emerging Academy. Through advanced coaching and high-performance training. The Academy hopes to expedite players’ advancement from age-group and senior provincial cricket levels towards the national arena.
On Tuesday, April 23, Cricket South Africa (CSA) released the roster for the 2024 CSA Emerging Academy. The Academy, originally known as the National Academy, strives to accelerate players. Advancement from age-group and senior provincial cricket to the national level through advanced coaching and rigorous high-performance training.

The Academy will be housed in Pretoria at the CSA Center of Excellence
There are players on both the men’s and women’s teams who have compete for South Africa at the U19 level. Under the guidance of Men’s Emerging Academy and SA U19 coach Malibongwe Maketahe. The men’s team will play a schedule that runs from May to July. In the meantime, the women’s program will be run by SA U19 and Women’s Emerging Academy coach Dinesha Devnarain from June to July.
