Anushka Sharma goes wild in the stands when Virat Kohli dismisses Scott Edwards with his bowling. Virat Kohli picked up the fifth wicket of his ODI career.

Virat Kohli, the star Indian batsman, was seen rolling his arm over again during Match 45 against the Netherlands on Sunday, November 12 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, Kohli eventually got the wicket of Netherlands skipper Scott Edwards in his second over, who was strangled down the leg side on the third ball of the 25th over. When Kohli got his fifth ODI wicket, his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, came out laughing in the stands.

Rohit Sharma also picked a wicket

Kohli finished the innings with his best-ever figures of 1/13 in three overs. Apart from him, captain Rohit Sharma was also seen rolling his arm over as he picked up the wicket of Teja Nidamanuru who holed out to long on. It was the ninth ODI wicket for the Indian captain in 260 matches. 

As a result, the Netherlands were dismissed for 250 in 47.5 overs, and India won by 160 runs. India’s winning run was extended to nine matches as a result of their victory, and they finished on top of the points table with nine victories from nine matches, totaling 18 points.

India had earlier recorded a mammoth total of 410/4 in their allocated 50 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma (61 off 54), Shubman Gill (51 off 32), Virat Kohli (51 off 56), Shreyas Iyer (128 off 94), and KL Rahul (102 off 64) all scored fifty-plus runs for India, marking the first time that all five top scorers scored fifty-plus runs in a World Cup game.

The Men in Blue will face their old foe New Zealand in the first semi-final on Wednesday, November 15 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
