Pakistan players hit by viral fever ahead of their match against Australia. Pakistan will face Australia at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, October 20.
Pakistan’s preparations for their next ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 match against Australia hamper after many important players were diagnose with a viral chest illness while in Bengaluru. According to sources, four to five players have suffered from a severe chest infection, which has resulted in a high fever and illness. Players like Shaheen Afridi, Abdullah Shafique, Zaman Khan, and Usama Mir have high fevers.
Afridi apparently afflicted by a viral bacterial infection and sought medical assistance promptly. Including antibiotic drips to aid in his recuperation. Shafique, on the other hand, develop a significant high temperature and is currently under the care of specialists.
According to Samaa Tv, Zaman Khan added to the list of sick players, along with Usama Mir, who suffering from the disease for five days and has been quarantined as a precautionary measure. Mir’s medical checks, however, all came up negative. Pakistan’s media manager has also indicated that the country’s cricketers are improving and on the mend.
Meanwhile, the Babar Azam-led side would be keen for a win after being defeat by arch-rivals India in their previous match. Pakistan 155/2 after 29.3 overs after being put in to bat first.
