He also participated in the 2011 and 2015 World Cups. In ten ODI World Cup games, he has taken 17 wickets at an average of 24.88 and an economy of 4.36.

India’s World Cup campaign will begin with a friendly match against England in Guwahati
Followed by a second friendly match against the Netherlands on October 3 in Thiruvananthapuram. Australia will be the opponent for the Rohit Sharma-led team’s opening league match on Sunday, October 8 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
