Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube has been a star performance for West Zone in the present Deodhar Trophy. Leaving cricket fans in awe of his outstanding abilities. His latest match-winning knock against North Zone has highlighted the excellent guidance he received from cricketing legend MS Dhoni during the IPL 2023 season.
Dube’s inning was nothing short of amazing. Batting against a difficult pitch, he displayed great composure, scoring a spectacular 83 runs off just 78 balls to lead West Zone to a victorious chase of 260 runs. With the side struggling at 122 for 4, Dube joined forces with Kathan Patel to form a crucial 138-run partnership for the 5th wicket, leading his team to victory.

Dube acknowledged his amazing form and maturity to the wisdom he got from MS Dhoni during IPL 2023
“I can’t describe all… My game has been improve. I learned how to end the game, how to be in the situation. How to tackle the bowlers, that all things are more significant. That many things are present but cannot be expressed. But I definitely got some good advice,” Dube added.
Dhoni’s counsel to Dube was straightforward yet profound: “Play until the end and try to finish the game.” Your batting may help you win many matches, so keep believing in yourself.”
These remarks appear to have worked like magic for the young all-rounder, as he shown incredible progress and poise under pressure.

“The goal for me is to finish the game with bat and ball.” I probably plan based on what kind of job I receive for my team and what situation I get.
