Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana believes her team will win the next three-match ODIs against India. Which begins on July 16 at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Despite a 0-5 record against India in the format, Sultana believes that their recent success against the Women in Blue in the third T20I will spur them on to beat the opponents in ODIs.
The two teams just finished a three-match T20I series. Despite being on the losing end of the series, Bangladesh managed to win the final game and avoid a series whitewash. However, ahead of the 50-over games, Nigar expressed faith in her team and stated that they can win and end their losing trend against India.
“I believe Bangladesh are the favorites because we won the last match. Despite the different format, it will keep us ahead. ” The squad is on a roll, and we don’t want to make any mistakes in order to get the series off to a good start. We are certainly optimistic because we are playing in our own backyard, and secondly, everyone is [feeling] quite positive after winning the previous game. “Everyone is more prepared than they were before,” Sultana stated at a pre-match press conference.

India is relatively weak against legspin: Sultana Joty
The T20I series saw India easily win the first game. Bangladesh put up a strong fight in the second T20I before losing in the final over. Despite losing the series early on, they made a great recovery and posed a challenge to the Women in Blue on the field. Top efforts with both the bat and the ball helped them secure a victory before losing the series 1-2.
“I believe we have batted better than India so far. ” Our batters assessed the wicket well in the second T20I and hit strokes accordingly.
