The southpaw produced a superb cameo of 15* off 6 balls to help CSK win their sixth IPL title and tie Mumbai Indians for the most trophies won.
Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra commented after his spectacular performance. It was a breakthrough season for the left-arm spinner, whose bowling talents had been lacking in recent years. Jadeja was CSK’s second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament, with 20 scalps from 16 innings at an average of 21.55 and an economy of 7.56.

Jadeja scored 190 runs in 12 innings, averaging 23.75 and striking out 142.85 times. Throughout the season, the southpaw made key cameos and helped his team add crucial runs towards the end. Throughout the season, the 34-year-old was named Player of the Match three times, against the Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals.
Apart from his batting exploits, Jadeja also took 1/38 in the final and took the key wicket of Shubman Gill (39 off 20) thanks to Dhoni’s outstanding glovework.
