KKR issues an official statement in response to LSG’s charges of refusing fans entrance. The KKR management refused access to certain fans who were seen wearing Mohun Bagan football club attire.
The KKR issued an official statement after fans were allegedly deny access during their match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Saturday, May 20. To honor the iconic Indian football club Mohun Bagan, the Lucknow-based franchise wore a maroon and green jersey versus KKR.
However, prior to the game, the KKR management barred access to select fans. Who were observed wearing the football club’s uniform. However, KKR issued an official statement in this regard, stating that they are concern about “ambush marketing by vested interests.”

Prior to KKR’s official comment, Mohun Bagan general secretary Debashish Dutta expressed his thoughts on the situation bluntly.
“It was a special match for Mohun Bagan supporters because LSG was wearing a new Green and Maroon Jersey. ” Debashish Dutta said in a release. “However, the KKR management curtailed the freedom of the Mohun Bagan supporters.
