Naseem Shah admit to the hospital due to pneumonia. Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah hospitalized with pneumonia and will miss the rest of the England T20I series. According to accounts, Naseem admitted to the hospital late Tuesday night.
“After examining his medical records, the PCB will make a judgment on Naseem Shah continued participation in the [England] series,” the PCB stated in a statement.
According to medical experts, recovery from pneumonia varies. A patient may be able to return to work in a week or two. He may require four to six weeks to fully heal since the condition damages the lungs.
Patients recovering from pneumonia have been reported to complain of weariness and lethargy for up to three months following their recovery.

Naseem have been nominated to Pakistan’s World Cup squad, and Naseem will accompany the team to New Zealand.
Following the completion of the series in England on October 2. Pakistan will travel to New Zealand the following day to compete in a T20I tri-series against Bangladesh from October 7 to 14. They will next go to Australia for the World Cup, which opens on October 23 against India in Melbourne.
PCB hopes that Naseem would be able to heal in time for the multi-team event.
