New Zealand limited-overs tour was canceled in September due to security concerns after the second tour was agreed upon to make up for the matches that were lost.
The two boards confirmed on Monday that New Zealand will visit Pakistan twice next season. The two teams will meet for two Tests as part of the World Test Championship. And three One-Day Internationals as part of the World Cup Super League in December 2022-January 2023.
New Zealand returns to Pakistan in April 2023 for five ODIs and five T20s
The first visit was part of New Zealand Cricket’s Future Tours Programme. While the second was agreed to make up for matches missed. After New Zealand limited-overs tour of Pakistan was called off minutes before the first ODI. Due to security concerns in September.
Two further ODIs will be played on the limited-overs tour in April 2023, in addition to the ones scheduled for 2021.
“It’s great to be coming back,” said NZC CEO David White. “While in Dubai, our respective chairmen, Ramiz Raja and Martin Snedden. Had very fruitful and constructive meetings, reinforcing the relationship between the two organizations.”

Ramiz, the PCB chairman, said:
New Zealand to tour Pakistan: “The board is please with the outcomes of our conversations and negotiations” after being particularly critical of the NZC’s decision to abandon the tour this year.
“This demonstrates the two boards’ strong, amicable, and historic relations. And underlines Pakistan’s place as a significant member of the cricket brotherhood,” he said.
