Cameron Green’s On Monday, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green pulled out his helmet with a ‘vicious’ short-ball during a Marsh Cup One-Day game between Queensland Bulls and Western Australia (WA) at the Gabba in Brisbane, and Jimmy Peirson escaped with his life.
The event occurred in Queensland’s 28th over of their innings. Peirson was evaluated by a doctor and physio for a possible concussion after taking a blow to his helmet.

Other players, such as Australia’s Test standout Joe Burns, who was on the non-end, strikers came to see how his teammate was doing.

Cameron Green’s quick to apologize to Peirson after hitting him on the head with his bat
Bancroft, who is vying for a spot in Australia’s Ashes squad, then anchored the innings before Green and Aston Turner followed with 70 and 71* performances, respectively.
James Bazley was 2 for 73 for the Bulls, while Matthew Kuhnemann was the other victim.
Queensland was bowled out for 291 while chasing a total of 362, and WA won by 70 runs. The top four batters for the Bulls, including Test star Marnus Labuschagne, couldn’t muster much and were quickly bowled.
Burns (73 off 74) and Peirson (62 off 50) put up a valiant fight, adding 124 runs for the fifth wicket before being bowl by Andrew Tye in rapid succession.
