Mohammad Saifuddin: Bangladesh’s injured pace-bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifdin has been replaced at the ongoing ICC World T20 due to a back injury.
But will miss his home series with Pakistan scheduled for November.
Debashish Chowdhury, Chief Medical Officer of the Bangladesh Cricket Commission confirmed the development and added that he would need to rest for at least a month before starting a rehabilitation program to recover from a stress fracture.
“He (Mohammad Saifuddin) has a stress injury,” said Debashish on Thursday (October 28). ‘After a month’s rest, he will start his rehabilitation program.”

Bangladesh will host Pakistan with three T20Is and two tests after the end of this year’s T20 World Cup.
