PCB mark Lahore as only venue for India games at Champions Trophy 2025. The venue decided keeping the travel hassles for India in mind.
The Pakistan Cricket Board, or PCB, has declared that Lahore will be the only location for Indian matches in the Champions Trophy in 2025. Pakistan is schedule to host the major event, which is schedule to begin in February 2025. The other two designated venues are Karachi and Rawalpindi, in addition to Lahore.
Given the political tensions between the two nations, there are some concerns about India traveling to Pakistan for the tournament. It is noteworthy that the PCB select Lahore as the location for the India matches, taking into account the venue’s proximity to the border. The BCCI decline to allow travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2023.

Indian fans can easily cross the Wagah Border to watch their team play if the games held in Lahore
Furthermore, only one destination chosen to avoid travel complications. Interestingly, Pakistan is the defending Champions Trophy champion. Having won the tournament in 2017 and defeated India in the summit clash. If the event is held in Pakistan, it will be the first time the country host it. It assign to them in 2008 but moved due to security concerns, as South Africa hosted it the following year.
